Catalin’s Weekend of Podiums at Bucovina Ultra Rocks
During the weekend of 26-28 July, Bucovina Ultra Rocks sets a “Triple Crown” Challenge: compete in the 5km RUNC Challenge on Friday, the 48km Lady’s Rocks on Saturday, and the 15km Rumble Rock on Sunday. Catalin raced all three, with two wins and one second place.
Friday’s RUNC Challenge Podium
Catalin came second in the 5k race on the Friday, while Saturday and Sunday both finished with a win. In the Lady’s Rocks race, he completed the 48km and 3130m of ascent in 5:13:31. Catalin then rounded off the weekend with a joint first place in the 15km Rumble Rock, crossing the line together with Alexandru Focsa in 1:27:24.
