Catalin Sorecau
Catalin fell in love with mountain trails after competing in a sky race in Romania - a “horrible day” that would change his life forever.
He’s grown up in a small town near the Carpathian Mountains, in the “haunted land of Transylvania.”
Catalin first stepped onto an international podium at the Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2022, when he secured third place in the 80km UltraDolomites.
In 2023, Catalin represented Romania at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Austria in the Long Trail category.
