Victoria wins her first trail race

Running her first trail race and first ultra marathon, Victoria won and set a new women’s course record at the Engadin Ultra Trail 53km in Switzerland.

The race covered 53km and c. 2640m of ascent, being Vicks’ first trail race, let alone her first ultra!

She started fast and was in the top 10 overall, leading the female race from the first climb, then steadily passing runners in the overall ranking and increasing her lead on second place. Vicks crossed the finish line as 4th overall and set a new female course record. A very promising start to her trail running career.
