Catalin Runs for Romania at Worlds
Representing your country is always a fantastic honour. For Catalin, this dream came through in 2023 by running for Romania in the long race (85 km and 6500m of ascent) at the World Mountain & Trail Running Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.
He ran it brilliantly, pacing himself in the heat and on a very difficult and steep course. Catalin finished in 21st position after steadily gaining against his competitors throughout the race. His result also contributed to the Romanian men’s team getting 5th place.
