Rebecca Dent

Rebecca Dent Elite Trail Team high performance dietitian

Rebecca Dent is a high performance dietitian who specialises in working with ultra endurance and mountain sport athletes helping them reach their peak performance with easy to put into practice, personalised nutrition guidance.

Her knowledge and expertise is built on a solid ground of her academic qualifications and a professional career of over 20 years. She has a wealth of experience working with recreational to world class mountain sport and ultra running athletes. She has supported the GB climbing team and GB climber Shauna Coxsey to the Tokyo Olympics in 2022, as well as elite world class and recording breaking ultra runners William Sichel and Paul Tierney.

Rebecca holds a BSc degree in Applied Human Nutrition (Dietetics) from the University of Wales Institute of Cardiff and an MSc in Sport Nutrition from Loughborough University. Rebecca is also accredited Level 1 ISAK – International Society for the Advancement of Kinathropometry. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the British Dietetic Association.

Rebecca’s experience also includes being a performance nutritionist at the high performance epicentre Sport Scotland Institute of Sport (SIS) where she worked with national and Olympic athletes (GB curling team and winter athletes, Scottish swimmers, wrestlers and weight lifters). During her time at the SIS she also gained a sport nutrition diploma with the International Olympic Committee.
