George is 2nd at Helvellyn Sky Ultra
In the Skyrunning UK Series 2023, the Rab Helvellyn Sky Ultra event was meant to be a 57km course with 3700m of ascent and lots of technical sections. Unfortunately, the weather forced the organisers to propose an altered route, which still ended up being a “cracking trail marathon” according to George. He ran strongly despite being a bit out of his comfort zone on more runnable terrain, finishing in second place. Another Skyrunning podium after 3 events and a great consistent performance from George!
