Kirsteen is an accomplished trail runner who has represented Great Britain internationally and has also enjoyed canicross with her Hungarian Viszla Joey.

Her introduction to mountain running came in 2019, when she ran the Snowdon marathon, which was the GB trials for the World Mountain Running Championships in Patagonia. Having never run up a mountain before, let alone raced up one, she went into that race with zero pressure and zero expectation. To go on and win it was completely unexpected and it led to the call up to represent GB at the World Championships. This sparked Kirsteen’s love for trail running and it’s been one heck of a journey of highs and lows since then.

Kirsteen’s Favourite trails to run on

⛰ Patagonia in spring, the weather is warm and dry. The trees are full of fresh green foliage and the flowers blooming but there’s still snow up on the high peaks. Absolutely gorgeous.

Best Trail Running Memory

🏃‍♀️ Crossing the finish line of the 2019 Snowdon Marathon in a completely unexpected 1st place. That race changed the trajectory of my life.
