Meet the Athletes
Joanne Lehr
Joanne joins the Elite Trail Team as a Development athlete. She is a Dutch runner who recently discovered trail running in 2023. Coming from the shorter distances like the 400m on the track, she is very motivated to push her limits on the long distance.
Together with her dog Pip, she loves to go for long runs in the woods. She loves to travel and discover new trails in the mountains or along the coast.
In 2024, Joanne ran her first international trail races, competing in the Golden Trail Series NL/UK.

⛰ I love mountain trails with ascents to great views. The trails last summer around Mont Ventoux were very nice.
Best Trail Running Memory
🏃♀️ In March 2023 I did my first real trail weekend on Ameland, NL, two races over two days. I was very inspired by the other experienced participants and really enjoyed the fast start over the beach.
